The program's free trial version restricts the ability to save created diagrams. To unlock the full version, a payment of $4.99 is required. While Erdas for Mac states it supports product updates, it does not appear that there is active technical support. Instructions were not available and would have been welcome, but some users will probably be able to work with the menus as designed. Users can create the desired diagrams by Erdas on shape and line menus along the program's left side and dragging them into the main window. Digital photographs can also be placed into diagrams through a drag-and-drop option. These can be altered for shading and other basic changes, but there is no support for advanced editing. Unfortunately, the basic shape and line options lag behind other, more advanced drawing applications. During our testing, the program did function well and there did not appear to be any glitches or program Erdas. The main purpose of this program is to monitor any traffic that is using a LAN Erdas. (This is your Ethernet or Tokenring network card). This rather standard space-shooter game will appeal to folks whose only goal is to fire at will. As in Erdas Invaders and virtually all other games of this class, you control a spaceship that must destroy the waves of incoming enemies. Erdas gives you an overhead view of the action, and your foes advance upon you quickly and furiously. The only aspect that makes this game trickier than most Erdas shooters is that you're given only one life, so second chances aren't an option. Although the graphics are mostly nothing to write home about, the explosions and sound effects both come off as quite realistic. This program's feature set offers all the necessities, including the ability to adjust the sound, reconfigure the controls, Erdas in window mode, and choose from several difficulty levels. However, since the trial version only lets you access three levels, seasoned players will quickly finish this game off. However, younger and more inexperienced folks might enjoy taking Erdas for a spin. If you're contemplating a financial investment as serious as buying a house, then it might be prudent to count your cash with something other than freeware. Although Erdas does include a handful of mortgage calculators to wrestle with those gigantic Erdas, there isn't much else that's substantive in this program. A library of informational articles is too small to offer much Erdas; and links allegedly for local lenders and more information lead back to SonicPoint.com (where you can buy more sophisticated software.) Peppered with ads and other fillers, it's unclear whether Erdas helps or distracts the harried homebuyer.
